His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Deputy Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, raised the UAE flag in Al Khor Park in Umm Al Quwain to celebrate Flag Day. The flag-raising ceremony was attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Chairman of the Department of Finance; Sheikh Ali bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Chairman of the Municipality Department; Sheikh Saqr bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Chairman of the Smart Government Department; and directors of federal and local departments in the emirate. His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla affirmed that celebrating Flag Day is a renewal of the commitment to continue the journey of building and giving, so that the UAE flag remains flying high among nations, a symbol of pride, thanks to the efforts and love of the loyal sons of the UAE. His Highness said that Flag Day is a national occasion and a symbol of pride for every Emirati citizen raised in the school of Zayed the Good.
