Ministerial Development Council reviews set of government projects, policies

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, has chaired a meeting of the Ministerial Development Council held at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi. The Council reviewed and discussed several government projects and policies submitted by federal ministries and entities. The meeting’s agenda included discussions of new projects regulating the media and education sectors, as well as new policies related to civil aviation. The Council also examined projects of legislation and regulatory decisions linked to government procurements, taxation ecosystem, and the national banking sector, in addition to reviewing reports on the progress of Emiratisation initiatives in both the healthcare and banking sectors, besides the outcome of several cultural programmes and initiatives. Furthermore, the Council evaluated the progress of national initiatives concerning the circular economy and biodiversity, and updates on the UAE’s active participation in international events and conferences.
