Saud bin Saqr reviews Ras Al Khaimah ‘Security and Safety Index’

H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, has said that the UAE is a leading country in terms of security and safety, praising efforts to ensure security and safety across the country. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr valued the efforts of the Ministry of Interior to establish the feeling of security and achieve record results in related indexes, in line with the National Agenda and the UAE Vision 2021. His Highness's remarks came during a meeting with Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of the Ras Al Khaimah Police, Major General Dr. Abdul Qudoos Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidly, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Quality and Excellence at the Dubai Police and Supervisor of the National Index of Feeling Security and Safety at the Ministry of Interior, and their delegation. During the meeting, Sheikh Saud reviewed the results of the 'Security and Safety Index 2018' while listening to a detailed explanation about relevant local and international practices and the country’s ability to improve its performance in the index. Sheikh Saud instructed the delegation to offer the necessary support, remove obstacles and train police personnel, to ensure their competitiveness and constant readiness, which will strengthen the feeling of security. He also instructed them to make the index a priority, answer the needs of the community and organise new projects, to improve Ras Al Khaimah’s result in the index. Sheikh Saud praised the delegation’s visit that aimed to discuss and promote relevant initiatives, based on the priorities of the UAE National Agenda 2021, which aims to make the country a global leader in terms of the feeling of security. Major General bin Alwan stated that the directives and support of Sheikh Saud and H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, as well as the support of H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, are the main pillars of the efforts of the Ras Al Khaimah Police to establish security and stability and keep pace with international police and security developments.
