Al-Jubeir: Jeddah peace agreement between Eritrea and Ethiopia came as a result of long efforts

Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir said that the signing of Jeddah peace agreement between Eritrea and Ethiopia in Jeddah on Sunday, was result of efforts made by all of these countries and efforts of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Crown Prince, deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense stretched over many months, and there was mutual visits during which he discussed ways and possibilities to reach an agreement between the two neighbors.   Said al-Jubeir, during a press conference with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres at the Foreign Ministry branch in Jeddah Sunday, "because of the political courage of the leaders of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, and the leaders of the State of Eritrea, the two sides reached this historic solution, which we hope will contribute to the security and stability of the Red Sea area , Which will open the way for more cooperation, trade and investment from the whole world. "
