Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil will visit Russia next week for talks with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, a news report said Monday. "The talks between the two ministers will focus on the initiative put forward by Russia last month on securing the return of Syrian refugees to their country, and start practical steps in this framework through the formation of joint logistics centers with neighboring countries, Including Lebanon. The special envoy of the Russian President for the Syrian settlement, Alexander Lavrentiev, paid a visit to Lebanon, headed by a Russian diplomatic and military delegation, during which he met with senior Lebanese officials to explain the details of the Russian initiative on the return of Syrian refugees.
